our documents.
our values.
we are ambitious.
We know the road ahead is long, but we believe every hearing-impaired person in Tanzania deserves access to quality education. It may take time, but we are confident that together, we will get there.
we value humanity.
At TARATA, people come first. We value every student, teacher, and staff member. No one is left behind: we support students who face financial difficulties, we stand by staff during times of illness, and we work together to find solutions—whether that means creating jobs within TARATA, supporting job searches outside, or covering health expenses. Because at our core, we are a community.
we strive for excellence.
We don’t just want to provide education—we want to provide the best possible education for our students. Excellence also means preparing our students not only with academic and vocational skills but with the confidence, resilience, and opportunities they need to thrive. We take the path that leads to lasting impact, not the shortcut.
we value integrity.
We are honest—with ourselves and with you. Our finances are transparent: you can see where our money comes from and how it is used. In our annual report, we share not only successes but also mistakes and lessons learned. Our values and principles guide every decision we make.
